Does the EU AI Act apply to your organisation, and what do you need to do by when? This free check takes a few minutes. Tick your size, your role and what you use or build AI for, and you get the risk class per use case, your personal deadlines, your maximum fine exposure and an action plan ranked by urgency.
The check follows the AI Act as amended by the Digital Omnibus (Regulation (EU) 2026/1744), as of November 2026. Nothing is stored or sent: everything stays in your browser.
How the check works
The AI Act classifies use, not technology. The check therefore looks at each use case and asks whether it is prohibited, high risk under Annex III or Annex I, subject to the Article 50 transparency rules, or minimal risk. It then factors in your role (provider or deployer) and your size: SMEs and small mid-caps face the lower of the two fine amounts, large companies the higher.
The result is a simplified first assessment, not legal advice. When in doubt about a use case, read the legal text or seek advice. Official help is available from the European Commission AI Act Service Desk.
